SuR-sc Single Cell Kit V2 is suitable for non-bias isothermal genome amplification system based on multiple displacement amplification (MDA) using single cells or microsamples as templates. More than 95% of single-cell genome can be covered. The size of the amplification product is between 2 kb-100 kb and the average product length is more than 20 kb.
This product can be widely used for whole genome sequencing, whole exon sequencing, large fragment copy number variation analysis, microsatellite analysis, qPCR analysis and gene chip analysis.
The Phi 29 DNA polymerase used in this kit is a DNA polymerase from phage. It has strong strand displacement activity and can realize the melting and replication of DNA with complex structures. Phi 29 DNA polymerase has a strong chain affinity. In a single polymerization reaction, continuous polymerization extension can reach up to 100 kb and its amplification product is suitable for almost all downstream applications. Phi 29 DNA polymerase also has strong 3'-5' exonuclease activity. The fidelity is 1000 times that of the Taq enzyme, which guarantees the high fidelity of DNA synthesis.
A single reaction of SuR-sc Single Cell KitV2 can produce 30-40 μg genomic DNA with high coverage.
