Antibody therapy against SARS-CoV-2: A Global Collaboration

Abstract
Therapeutic antibody can provide key protection or lifesaving treatment for those who haven't been or can’t be vaccinated, or when vaccines don’t “take". We galvanized a Gates- and NIAID-funded consortium to understand which antibodies are most protective and why, to learn which in vitro assays best correlate with in vivo success, and to broadly mobilize therapeutics where needed.

1. The different mechanisms by which antibodies protect against viral infection
2. How a multidisciplinary, multi-investigator study can offer new information
