New tools for plasma proteomics workflows
Amarjeet Flora, M.S.
Recent technological advancements have revitalized interest in plasma proteomics, helping to bridge the gap between laboratory research and clinical application. Plasma, a crucial biological fluid, is extensively utilized in the discovery of disease biomarkers through proteomics. However, analyzing plasma is challenging due to the complexity of its proteome, which spans over 10 orders of magnitude in dynamic range. This seminar will focus on plasma proteomics workflows, emphasizing the preparation of high-quality peptide samples for both label-free quantification and isobaric labeling in mass spectrometry-based proteomics. Additionally, the seminar will provide an overview of techniques aimed at enhancing the detection of less abundant proteins in plasma and serum, thereby improving the depth of proteomic coverage.
Webinars will be available for unlimited on-demand viewing after live event.
